Paul R. Eldredge was appointed to serve as General Manager of Union Sanitary District in August of 2014. He has more than 27 years of experience in financing, planning, designing, constructing, operating, and maintaining numerous engineering and public works projects, which include water, wastewater, and water recycling systems. His expertise in management of large organizations includes strategic planning and financial management. As the District's chief executive officer, Paul balances the continued demands of maintaining critical infrastructure, financial stability, innovation, sustainability, and long-term planning.
Mr. Eldredge is a registered Civil Engineer in California, Hawaii, Arizona, Colorado, and Massachusetts. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and a minor in Physics from California State University, Sacramento, and a Masters of Business Administration from Colorado State University.
Mr. Eldredge is an active member of the Managers Advisory Committee for the East Bay Dischargers Authority and of the California Association of Sanitation Agencies' Federal Legislative Committee. He is a dedicated member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, National Association of Clean Water Agencies, and Bay Area Clean Water Agencies.
