Digital Plan Check Submittal Process

Union Sanitary District has developed guidelines to assist engineering consultants, design firms and developers in submitting digital plans of proposed development in the Tri-city area (Fremont, Newark, Union City).

USD has incorporated these guidelines into our Standard Specifications and Information Bulletin, which is also available at our permitting counter.  These guidelines are provided as a "starting point" for submitting digital plans for sewer construction within the District.  USD encourages engineering consultants and design firms to read Section 16 of the Standard Specifications and Information Bulletin for more detailed information.

These new requirements became effective on July 1, 2002.
